#WriteAPrisoner #komkommertijd

Image
Write a prisoner: Komkommertijd Het is beslist vakantietijd. Charles' Adventures - part 4 - A #smartass has #nowaste

Image
This is the story of Charles a Dutch guy, a daddy exactly and much more.. Are Charles' adventures real or? This ia a series of 18 turbo-tales. A smartass "That smell is terrible', the cat meowed. Her yellow eyes looked at Charles reprovingly, "you stink!" She stretched herself, jumped out of the open window and disappeared into the direction of the neighbours. Charles stepped into the tub, did put a beaten egg on his hair. Egg is great for hair, is what he lately read in a ladies magazine. He did not have much hair, but thanks to the egg that problem would be solved soon. The water still looks clean to me, Charles thought , you know what? I will wash my laundry in it as well. No waste! It will save water and electricity for sure. Every piece of dirty laundry he did put into the bathtub. "What a smartass I am", he said. As he closed the bathroom door, someone was knocking on his front door. Soft at first than louder... ...

How great is Steemit for writers?

Image
Oh, please come and join #Steemit, they said, you are a great writer. So I did at March 2018. What did bring Steemit me till so far?  Nothing!  That might sound weird, but it is true. I am a #mobileblogger, do write a lot, but people are no longer interested in reading. They do not read books, do not read short stories, they mainly watch pictures and even about that I have big doubts. I dis join some #discord groups. There was hardly contact with other Steemians. Always the same 3-5 people chatting. You could post your content, but it did not bring me more views. I was not able to join live chats or readings or lessons or... so I quit with discord also because it became harder to login. Those who did ask me to come and join left. This means I am on my own now. I also never made friends over here. It is impossible if you have a hard time to: login, post, reply, etc. and if you get no replies yourself. I hoped it was easier t...

Weku feels sorry for the #inconvenience

Weku is out of the air at the moment for... well we do not know for how long. This is the message you get if you try: Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are performing maintenance at the moment. Before able to open witness to public, we need to verify some witness features. Especially features related to witness syncing and consistency. We will be back online soon. -- Weku Team At least we know what is going on. Although I do wonder what will happen to my content. The thing is I never found any of what I did post over there back on the world wide web. It made and makes me think (well that first tag already did). It can be annoying for some people they are "out of the air" if you are for example joining writing contests, but I do believe it is a good idea to run tests first without subscribers feeling annoyed about all these options not operating plus the new bugs buzzing around. Many other organisations, including banks and the government, do the same, mainly at ...

A helping hand by #wakeupkitty

Image
No need to see him, already the thought of gave stress. Daily she passed by. Nobody could stand him. He was disgusting. Literally shit outside into every neighbour's garden. The garden shitty head gnome proved it. "Excuse me", a voice said,"it would be great if you could help us out. We've had it with that disgusting human being nearly shitting at every gnome by now!" She wasn't surprised. No need to ask who or what. It was also clear who was talking. The gnome! Thanks God he cleaned himself up. "We need a driver. He needs to leave! We made a plan, moving him out of the country, dumping him at some big cat litter, some desert. How we get him over there?" The more the gnome talked, the more interest she showed. The earthman his temperature was clearly high, his skin colour turned red. "I have been thinking about drowning him in the old well or driving him up to Transylvania... but what if he becomes the "Shitty Vampir...

The Death, a poem

Image
Do not fear, don't be scared. It was there from the moment on you were born. It is the only thing you can count on! The Death was once famous in story tales all over the world. In earlier times we felt fine with the next life-level. Now we try to forget about the Death asap. For years it was there, waiting at my bed patiently. No fear, just positive fibes, feelings of peace, trust, knowing I am safe. This poem is an "eleven" (11 words to say..).

Charles' adventures - part 2. Who's that guy?

Image
What can I tell you about Charles? He is created, a daddy exactly with anxiety and more. Might be we all recognize something in him, might be he lives in a #dreamworld (or if it comes to him) scary world. A world he doesn't understand . My writing partner #EnriqueDutch and I decided to write about Charles' life in turn. He started part 1 of Charles' adventures before Easter 2017 , I wrote the next part. Simply started where his story did end. Charles' adventures are originally Dutch and been translated. A part of the stories of this series of 18 were entrees for #writingcontests as well. Each part is a #turbotale. The search for eggs "Great yellow colour", Charles thought. The cat glazed at him. Her eyes were yellow. "You stay" , Charles said, "you fit in to Easter." "You're wearing your underpants insid e out", the cat meowed. She looked at the yellow underpants with disgust. "Time to search for th...

A poem about commitment

Image
I joined a poetry contest at weku. I just found out about it and gave it a chance. The whole idea is to write a poem and keep writing (daily so 365 a year). This time there was a picture showed you had to write a poem about. I choose to write an "eleven" (in Dutch: Elf). This poem only counts 11 words, so you need to pick out the right words with care. 365 days of poetry challenge Commitment. Long road. It will end. No way to turn. Endless.

Onwijs mannetje, ken jij hem?

Image

Buzzing love song

Image
I've never seen a lazy sun, it's always busy, at work. It's the same with all those bugs, dying to give me hugs. How dearly is that mosquito, buzzing love songs in my ear. She makes me hit her... rhytm, she's all that I do hear. Barking dogs. Locust plague and roaking frogs causing stress. I've had it, I'm so mad, sleeping naked is not that bad. The poem above is a madrigal. This one is written in lines of seven syllables and is comprised of three tercets.
