#freewrite - A #tale about a sick, little #warrior - part 4

Image
"What is he talking about", the monkey asked. They all gathered around the little warrior who was talking in his sleep. "Something about some person who  rose out of something... a cave", the bird said. " Pedals ", the little monkey said, "I think he stole a bike." "It's all about the shit he did", the snake said, "I doubt he is a warrior at all. He looks like a trouble maker to me. So let's get that splinter out of him so he can go back to where he came from, as soon as possible. As a door mat he won't last long plus he attracts flies." The little monkey gave it a try, but there was not much hold on the splinter. The big bird picked at it, but it did not do any good either. "Better ask someone else", the snake said, he whispered some words and a second bird arrived with a small creature on it's back. "Sorry we have to disturb you", the snake said. It's tail pointed at the warrio...

Een #turbosprookje over een krijger en hagedis - 1 (incl. English version)

Image
(for the original English version see underneath the picture! This is my entry at a 5-minute-weekend-freewrite at #Steemit).

#freewrite in 5 minutes at #Steemit - The white cat

Image
He always seems to feel sad, the little guy, the  white cat . He always seems to be afraid, is hiding, only goes out late. He always seems to leave  before midnight , although he knows he'll be molested by ... in a fight. He always seems to be in for a chat, he is very talkative, that white cat! He always seems to refuse a hug,  a kiss , (unless it's my daughter's) the white cat, but he's just fine the way he is. The picture is made by me with my Samsung J5 smartphone. I am a #mobileblogger. What you see is my daughter's white cat Mew, who is not deaf by the way.

Buzzing love song

Image
I've never seen a lazy sun, it's always busy, at work. It's the same with all those bugs, dying to give me hugs. How dearly is that mosquito, buzzing love songs in my ear. She makes me hit her... rhytm, she's all that I do hear. Barking dogs. Locust plague and roaking frogs causing stress. I've had it, I'm so mad, sleeping naked is not that bad. The poem above is a madrigal. This one is written in lines of seven syllables and is comprised of three tercets.

Are you a writer for real?

What is the reason you write? I am NOT only writing fairy tales but I am also writing prisoners. By now it is already over 6 years I started to do so. Already as a kid I did read non stop and wrote long letters. My first pen pal was probably my granny, the next a girl from Belgium. Most disappointing thing if it comes to a pen pal? You write long letters, invest time and energie in a person and you get a 3 line letter back. Personally I do not believe most prisoners really want a pen pal. It is a way to get visitors, stuff, prayers, a home if they leave, a way to kill time if they are in the mood for it.
