Wasting time
I waste my time waiting. I am waiting the biggest part of my life.
This time for someone who will repair my washing machine. Since there is still guarantee on it I call the BCC service center of the shop. They say I will be called back within 48 hours.
After 48 hours I call them back because nobody called. Then they tell me I can call the mechanic myself.
So I call the mechanic. After he answered the phone (finally) he asks me every 20 seconds if I have a moment ... I hear him answering an other phone and doing other things in between.
I have to wait an other few days till he pays me a visit. He said he would be there between 10 am and 1 pm. So I wait again. At 12.50 he shows up.
My machine is broke because the mechanics of the shop, which I had to pay extra, didn't put the electric wire well on it. Some wires are burned and some parts are melted but he can fix it.
Although I have guarantee I have to pay the bill myself!
Time to grab the phone again and call the BCC service center. After 7 minutes waiting, paying x a minute they admit I have to pay the bill indeed. After that I can send my bill to them and they will decide if they will pay for it or not! Which means the guarantee I payed for is useless!
The lady on the phones says she doubts it's a mistake of their mechanic, to her opinion it's mine. Otherwise it would have happened in the very first start!
After she called me a liar and is convinced I let my washing machine bungee jumping out of the bathroom window, I hang up. She made me pay 14 minutes to hear that I could drop dead with my bill.
The mechanic tells me I have to go to the shop with that bill and they will pay me. Since my day is already ruined I decide to do that. But it's useless. No money. The only thing they are willing to do is to send the bill for me to their service center.
Now the only thing I can do is wait if they will ever pay me back. I don't count on it. If it comes to that those guarantee plus actions of the shops are exactly the same as insurances. It's a sport to them to collect as much money, to make empty promises and to pay out as less as possible.
